​The elementary principal is responsible for all aspects of administration in the preschool through the sixth grades including: providing a safe, respectful and responsible environment for over 250 students and 28 staff members *Ÿ leading instruction *Ÿ developing budgets Ÿ* organizing class schedules *Ÿ supervising and evaluating staff Ÿ* applying student discipline Ÿ* facilitating initiatives and professional development *Ÿ organizing teams and committees Ÿ * supervising maintenance and custodial activities *Ÿ recruiting and develop staff *Ÿ supervising elementary, junior high and senior high activities *Ÿ coordinating elementary co-and extra-curricular activities *Ÿ completing state and federal reports *Ÿ participating in administrative study group *Ÿ reporting to superintendent and board of education *Ÿ communicating with patrons, parents, students and staff.
